Gingerbread Friends

Kindergarten and first grade students listened to many stories about gingerbread during December. These books included The Gingerbread Baby, Hansel and Gretel, The Gingerbread Man, The Gingerbread Girl, and Gingerbread Friends.
They decided to decorate their own gingerbread houses to finish the unit. Construction of the gingerbread houses went very well, only a little nibbling was done during the work!
