Music Department Christmas Concert

Our Christmas concert was an all school affair which started off with the youngest singers. The preschool students entertained us with several songs under the direction of Mrs. Houtwed. We enjoyed music from the grade school, junior high, high school and Main Street Singers. Mr. Johnson is the choral music director. Miss Fischer, Mrs. Brady and Mrs. Panek were the accompanists.
The fifth grade band made their first appearance and we also enjoyed several tunes from the junior high and high school bands. Jacqueline Charbonneau is the instrumental music director.
The program ended with all of the choral groups singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and a surprise visit from Santa Claus! Thank you to everyone who donated cans of food to help “can” the musical instructors!
